a finished hat. it’s a birthday present for a friend of mine who just moved to Colorado for school. he actually graduated in mech-e with me (undergrad) & is one of the kindest people i know. i’m hoping to trek over & visit him one of these days. preferably in the early spring, when there is still some snowboarding to be done.
& that dino there is from that bag i got. i’ve started experimenting with different acrylics and spray paints. that particular apatosaurus was spray painted a nice deep bronze color. i’ve found out that certain spray paints just don’t hold on certain plastics, possible that the krylon plastic fusion spray will though, but i’m trying to not buy any new cans of spray paint. experimentation is a good thing.
& the raverly project link for the hat.

Hats are my absolute favorite thing to knit
Your hat looks lovely! Love the color of the dino too! ox
I love the light gray! Not exactly white so dirt won’t show… smart!
What a great gift!!
That’s such a sweet hat and dinosaur duo. Are they staying as a pair? They look great together. Also, I love the idea of painting almost anything bronze. Maybe everything.
yes, they will be packaged as a pair. oh, i just love the idea of painting everything bronze!
