easy jersey braided bracelet, a diy

a fun addition for spring & summer.
so easy you’ll want to make one for every outfit.
full on diy after the jump.
supplies:
flat nose pliers
a few jump rings [how to open/close jump rings]
lobster clasp
flat crimp end bars (2), i got these from ornamentea
fabric…with some stretch
(1) cut three strips of fabric (preferably some sort of jersey or stretchy fabric) about 1 inch wide, at least 7 inches long. pull the sides of the fabric so that it curls.
(2) gather the fabric and sandwhich it with the end bar. this is kind of a pain in the butt the first time; try to not have a death grip on anything. it helps to cut all three fabrics together to get them to line up nicely.
(3) crimp the end bar with the pliers. i like to crimp the outside corners and then the middle. put some muscle behind it, you don’t want the fabric to slip out.
(4) braid the fabric, remember to check the length on your wrist if you’d like. make the braid with minimal tension and as neatly as possible. cut the end and slide the end bar on, repeating the same process as before.  i make sure the bracelet is a bit snug without the jump rings/clasp.
(5) attach a jump ring and lobster clasp to one end and another jump ring to the other end & all done!
