revamp perks & bubble wrap diy

a few weeks ago i did a bit of an etsy revamp.
i scrapped all the old product photos & replaced them with a more natural look.
i am using a little chunk of a tree stump my mom had in her garden as well as plain old kraft paper.
i am really happy with the results. there are a few new styles of bracelets & a new banner too.

to celebrate, i am offering a 20% off coupon code…
just enter revamp20 at checkout.

coupon code will end 15 june 2011.
& there is currently free shipping in my shop too – super bonus!

bright bubble wrap envelope from remnants of science magazine.
i try to make my own bubble wrap envelopes as often as i can. i use a mix of old science magazines, maps, and kraft paper. i follow this awesome diy: make your own bubble mailers. the only thing i do different is that i run the sides & bottom through my sewing machine with a simple zig zag stitch. it reinforces that closure and just looks pretty. i also like to glue magazine pages to the kraft paper to make the envelope a bit sturdier, meaning the kraft paper is on the inside of the bubble mailer. the image above is pre-sewing, but you get the idea. happy packaging!

[zig-zag stitch above is actually photoshopped in to show you how it would look. i promise i can sew straight...just not photoshop straight it seems.]
