texture overload

a few weekends back i stumbled upon an old door that had some of the best crackled paint ever. awesome texture & old, rusted things are some of my favorite things to photograph.

slowly but surely i am getting back to taking photos, editing, & hopefully posting more often. one thing that i hope will help is my new laptop that i recently bought (yay). i had been using my hold desktop & the beast is pretty slow. it was torture trying to run photoshop on it (cs3 even) & even worse trying to run lightroom to convert my raw images to jpgs. so happy that i can use cs5 again, browse pintrest, and read blogs – all at the same time.

+ i used pugly pixel’s modern blog overlays.

that is yummy texture. there is something about old things that draw me in too. i know what you mean about the sloooooowww desktop. luckily (well I didn’t feel that way at the time but i do now) it crashed over thanksgiving and i now have a shiny new one. i upgraded to cs5 from cs2 in the process too so i’m learning lots of new tricks.
